NLC's Centennial Under 40 Impact Awards

 

Nominations are now open for NLC's Centennial Under 40 Impact Awards

This award recognizes and celebrates the achievements of elected officials under the age of 40 from NLC member cities. This endeavor aims to spotlight young, diverse elected leaders from across the country who significantly impact their communities through their dedication to public service, effective governance, and community development.

Award recipients will be highlighted and honored in November at NLC's City Summit in Tampa Bay, Florida.
 
Award Criteria:
•    Nominee must be an elected official under 40 years of age who has demonstrated excellence in leadership within their community;
•    Nominee must come from an NLC member city;
•    Nominations can be made by a colleague, constituent, or organization. Self-nominations are accepted;
•    Nominees will be asked to highlight a specific project or initiative in their community demonstrating their innovative leadership or civic engagement;
•    Nominee must be in a municipal elected office through December 31, 2024.
