We are the voice of Maryland's Incorporated Cities and Towns

Representing nearly 2 million constituents municipalities are the government closest to the people

Founded in 1936, MML represents three special taxing districts and all of Maryland's 157 incorporated cities and towns. We are the only statewide organization composed solely of municipal officials and devoted to the amplification of all branches of municipal administration.

A voluntary, nonprofit, nonpartisan association controlled and maintained by city and town governments, MML engages and empowers all Maryland municipal elected officials and staff by ensuring that they have access to the advocacy, education and information they need to provide the highest level of service to the residents of Maryland’s cities and towns.
