Banner City/Town Contenders – You're So Close - What's Left on Your Journey?

We are nearing the end of the 2025 Banner City/Town year. Based on 2024 summer conference and 2024 fall conference attendance, our records indicate that 90 municipalities remain in contention for a 2025 designation. Now is the time to ensure that your city/town makes it to the finish line to receive recognition for your engagement in the League.

We are excited to announce that all Banner Cities and Towns will be recognized in this year's Closing General Session at the summer conference. At our Closing Session we will shine the light on our most engaged municipalities. Those obtaining the 2025 designation will be provided closing session details closer to the summer conference.

Banner City/Town Program Information

Each year, MML's Banner City/Town Program recognizes cities and towns that have taken advantage of the resources and programs that MML offers. The program serves as a guide on how municipalities can make the most of their MML membership.

If a representative from your municipality attended the summer and fall conference, conducted a Municipal Government Works (MGW) month activity, visited a school (any age, any level) to explain municipal government and/or promote the If I Were Mayor, I Would…essay contest, you are still in the race for your 2025 Banner City/Town designation.

All BCT applications and any required proof must be submitted by May 23.

Please review the full list of requirements to see what else your officials may need to accomplish in order to get the 2025 designation. If you have any questions, please contact Sharon Easton.
