The FY22 State Aid for Police Protection Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) is now available online.
NOTE: New submission requirements were added to the SAPP program; therefore it is important that everyone download and read the entire NOFA prior to submitting your agency’s grant application and uploading the required forms and documents.
To access and download the NOFA for this funding opportunity, you must log into the online Grant Management System here. If the personnel that will be completing the required submissions does not have a User ID and Password, instructions are available online through the request login credentials link. If the applying agency’s Authorized Official that is listed in the Grant Management System has changed, it is very important to submit a request to our IT staff to update this prior to submitting an application to ensure that all personnel are correct. Instructions are available online to complete this staffing change request.
The SAPP application submissions and the required uploaded documents are due by 3:00 PM on October 15, 2020. Additionally, for your convenience, I have attached the Excel spreadsheet workbook to the electronic version of the SAPP Forms and the following web link will take you to the Subrecipient Organizational Capacity Questionnaire.
Please begin to work on your agency’s SAPP program requirements to ensure that all of the necessary forms and supporting documents are completed and submitted online in a timely fashion - no later than the above-mentioned due date.
After reading the FY22 SAPP NOFA instructions, if you have questions please do not hesitate to contact Angela Carpintieri by email at angela.carpintieri@maryland.gov for further guidance.
