Due to the increase in staff responsibilities in the ramp up to MML’s first ever Virtual Conference, there will not be a legislative Final Report at this time. However, here are a few resources to help digest legislative action from the General Assembly session and municipal impact.
- The MML website contains a list of every bill on which the legislative committee decided to take a formal position.
- The Department of Legislative Services produced a Major Issues Review, which summarizes the FY 21 State budget as passed and substantial issues tackled by the General Assembly during their abbreviated session.
- The May/June issue of Municipal Maryland has an article dedicated to legislation with municipal impact which starts on page 20.
Once the virtual conference concludes at the end of June, MML will share any additional legislative updates, should new information arise in the meantime.
