[ARCHIVED] Don't Miss the (Flag) Parade...

2019 monday

The flag parade will be held on Monday morning, June 29, 2020 at 10:00 am. Each participating municipality must designate an elected or appointed official (no children please) as flag bearer to present their municipal colors.

To date, the following municipalities have registered for the 2020 flag parade (as of 4/6/20): 

Northwest Region:
Central and Northeast Region: Poolesville
Prince George’s County: Colmar Manor, Glenarden
Eastern Shore: Denton, Ridgely Salisbury,

If you have not yet signed up for the parade of flags, please click here to sign up. As a reminder, the flag parade rehearsal will be held at 8:30 am on Monday, June 29 and is MANDATORY for participants. Please be sure that your flag bearer DOES NOT have a conflict with four other workshops (Employment Issues (Academy core), Better Community Engagement, and IGNITE: Reimagine Tomorrow) being held at the same time as the rehearsal. ALL FLAG BEARERS MUST ATTEND THE REHEARSAL - NO EXCEPTIONS!!
