On Wednesday, February 26th, MML staff will join a panel of municipal leaders and Sustainable Maryland program experts to support a bill to provide funding for educating communities in the development of strategies to achieve green community certification.
Introduced by Senator Elfreth, SB 737 would provide an additional $750,000 annually to the Sustainable Maryland program. The crossfile, HB 1520, is sponsored by Delegate Solomon and has a hearing scheduled for March 5th.
