Don’t be left behind…it’s time to register your flag for the very popular MML Parade of Flags! The parade of flags will be held during the summer conference opening general session on Monday, June 24 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center at the Ocean City Convention Center. To participate, each town must complete a flag parade registration form, which can be found at 2019 Flag Parade Registration Form.
All flag bearers MUST PARTICIPATE IN THE FLAG PARADE REHEARSAL on Monday morning, June 24 at 8:30 a.m. in the PAC. Please also remember to include your phrase (7 words or less, please) describing your city of town which will be read when your flag is announced during the parade.
The following municipalities have already signed up for the parade: Barclay, Betterton, College Park, Colmar Manor, Cottage City, Denton, Federalsburg, Forest Heights, Frederick, Gaithersburg, Galena, Greenbelt, Hampstead, New Carrollton, North Beach, North East, Morningside, Mount Rainier, Oakland Perryville and Pocomoke City.
