Brynja M. Booth, President of the Maryland Municipal Attorneys Association and Town Attorney representing Oxford, Trappe, Queenstown, Federalsburg, Greensboro and Goldsboro was recently appointed to Maryland’s highest court by Governor Larry Hogan. Booth has written 39 appellate briefs and argued 16 cases before the Courts of Special Appeals and Appeals during her 21 years practicing law. She has been a fixture at MML events, speaking on municipal law and municipal core issues. She has also testified on behalf of MML on many bills before the General Assembly. Maryland municipalities are indeed fortunate to have someone with Attorney Booth’s local government knowledge and experience on the Court of Appeals bench.
