Looking for comparison data as you assess salary and other compensation during the latest budget cycle? The Maryland Municipal League, in collaboration with Technology Net, LLC, is now entering its 10th year sponsoring a comprehensive, web-based compensation survey for its members. The MML compensation survey provides participating cities and towns with a powerful tool for comparing and assessing employee compensation data. The system allows municipalities to compare both salary and benefits data with other municipalities throughout Maryland as well as access to an additional mode containing compensation data from local governments in six other states, including Virginia. The cost to participate continues to be between $40 and $80 for most municipalities.
Last year, forty-eight (48) MML member municipalities contributed to the compensation survey, and the League is hoping to further boost participation in 2019. If you'd like more information on how your municipality can join the Maryland Municipal League compensation survey, contact Tom Reynolds at TomR@mdmunicipal.org or (410) 295-9100.
