Share your thoughts about the local housing supply challenges and policy pathways in your community by completing a brief survey. Responses will directly inform the efforts of the Housing Supply Accelerator, a campaign launched in partnership with the American Planning Association to realign the interests of public and private stakeholders to meet the local housing needs of communities nationwide.
Housing Supply Pulse Survey is focused on the topic of local housing supply with the goal of learning more about the challenges that cities are facing, and to gauge their responsiveness to possible policy pathways and solutions. Responses from the survey will inform the work of the newly launched Housing Supply Accelerator, a year-long campaign undertaken in partnership with the American Planning Association (APA).
The survey has roughly 6 questions and should take less than 5 minutes to complete. Questions covered in the survey includes:
• Whether or not the city government has (an) employee(s) whose primary responsibility is to oversee housing preservation and development?
• How high of a priority the local housing supply is as a local government issue?
• Top concerns and hurdles related to housing supply?
• How supportive the respondent would be of particular approaches or policy options for addressing local housing supply challenges?
