[ARCHIVED] $500,000 in National Fitness Campaign Grant Funding Available in Maryland

The National Fitness Campaign (NFC) has announced $500,000 in grant funding coming to fifteen communities in the state of Maryland for 2023. This funding will be allocated to support municipalities across the state to join the growing NFC wellness campaign; building healthy infrastructure to smart cities and schools of the future. 

If you are not yet familiar with the campaign, the program is designed to bring world-class healthy infrastructure to public spaces, along with consulting, funding and community programming support. NFC has developed the nation’s largest public-private wellness partnership with $100 million of investment to combat the fiscal and humanitarian burdens of sedentary lifestyles.
