MML is once again sponsoring our annual opening day legislative reception this year. The reception is scheduled for Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Calvert House in downtown Annapolis. The event is open to ALL MML members at no charge.
When MML began holding this event over fifteen years ago, it was decided that the money needed to offset the expenses of the reception would be raised by soliciting sponsorships. To raise the funds needed, each year we approach a group of private sponsors. However, based on interest from our membership, we have also been fortunate enough to receive support from our cities and towns, who have each contributed between $500 and $1,000 to offset the cost of the reception. Thanks to those who have already sponsored!
The purpose of this email is to allow members of MML the opportunity to have their city or town listed among the member sponsors of the reception. If your city or town is interested in sponsoring, all you need to do is email Kevin Connors (kevinc@mdmunicipal.org) with the amount your city or town would like to contribute, and we'll be happy to send an invoice for the amount you choose to sponsor. In return, your city/town name will be listed among sponsors on all signage at the reception and you will receive a sponsor ribbon on your badge of choice at the reception.
