On October 31, during the final meeting of the LGIT Board of Trustees for 2018, the Board elected two prominent MML leaders to fill important leadership roles on the Board of Trustees.
Elected Chair for the coming year was Middletown Burgess John Miller, who joined the LGIT Board as a trustee in 2006. Burgess Miller previously served as LGIT Vice-Chair of the Board and is currently a member-at-large of the MML Board.
Elected Secretary of the Board of Trustees was Denton Mayor Abigail McNinch, PhD. Mayor McNinch joined the LGIT Board in 2016 and was most recently the chair of the Claims Committee. She also serves as District 2 Vice President of the MML Board.
