[ARCHIVED] "Lunch & Learn About LARs” Webinar

MML’s Legislative Committee has successfully narrowed down the potential legislative priorities to one issue: municipal involvement in Police Accountability Boards.

The Legislative Committee has also identified two strategic initiatives: 1. Expanding sources of municipal revenue; and 2. Municipal transparency and constituent communications.

The MML Board of Directors will vote on whether to adopt these recommendations later this month, but before then the Legislative Committee and MML Legislative Team will host two free webinars for MML members to learn more about the Legislative Action Request process and these specific recommendations. This will also be an opportunity to share ideas on implementation following an exciting election cycle.

The first of two identical “Lunch & Learn About LARs” webinars will be this Thursday, September 8 at 12 noon. The second will be Thursday, September 15 at 12 noon. Register to receive the Zoom link by emailing Angelica Bailey Thupari at or Justin Fiore at
