The Green and Blue Infrastructure Policy Advisory Commission is a recently created entity and has two municipal seats. Its purpose is to inform State and local government officials on ways to better implement green and blue infrastructure, which is land and water-based solutions to improve environmental conditions. Project examples include living shorelines, restoring forest or agricultural lands, and improving climate resiliency. The group will meet at least three times per year and will produce recommendations based on their findings.
