The Maryland Water Infrastructure Financing Administration (MWIFA) thanks all who submitted an application during the December 2021 through January 2022 solicitation for FFY2022/State FY2024 funding. The following draft documents are linked below and available for a 30-day public comment period:
Project Priority Lists (PPL) show all applications received in ranked order from highest to lowest score along with project details from the applications. The PPLs do not include draft funding decisions.

Intended Use Plan (IUP) Tables 1 list the projects that ranked high enough for FFY 2022 Revolving Loan Funding consideration - both "base" funding and "Bipartisan Infrastructure Law - General Supplemental" funding. Only those projects with an amount shown in the “Total Funding” column are identified for FFY 2022 State Revolving Fund financing (official notifications to be made in October 2022). See the “Comments” column for additional information, where applicable (e.g., issues, potential grant funding* etc).

* Official notification regarding projects selected from the PPLs to receive State FY 2024 grant funds will be made in late spring 2023, following the close of the 2023 legislative session.
IUP Documents, along with the PPLs and IUP Tables, are submitted to the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to request the FFY 2022 Clean Water and Drinking Water Capitalization Grants and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law General Supplemental Grants.

All six of the aforementioned documents are subject to a 30-day public comment period, which begins 6/30/22 and closes on 7/30/22. Comments and/or questions regarding the draft documents can be submitted via email to mde.wqfa_announcement@maryland.gov. All comments will be included in a responsiveness summary submitted to EPA.
