MMCA Scholarships

PURPOSE

To provide continuing education and to encourage professionalism in Maryland Municipal Clerks by awarding financial assistance to qualified applicants who, without assistance, would be unable to attend the three-year institute program or pursue higher education. For many clerks, the completion of such a course is essential if they are to receive the prestigious designation of Certified Municipal Clerk from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks or for entry into the Master Municipal Clerk Academy.

GUIDELINES

The criteria on the following pages shall be considered by the Education/Scholarship Committee and used for making judgments in the light of the information provided by candidates.
