There are two professional constituency organizations within the Maryland Municipal League:
The purpose of the Mayors' Association is to help its members better serve their municipalities and to promote Maryland Municipal League initiatives. The Mayors' Association, as a Constituency Group of the Maryland Municipal League, will be subject to League regulations and to policy guidance from the League's Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
The membership of the Mayors' Association consists of the Mayor or Chief Elected Officer representing a member city/town of the Maryland Municipal League.
MMITA's mission is to encourage progress and efficiency in the application of computer information technology in municipalities throughout the State of Maryland; and to support the legislative objectivees of the Maryland Municipal League.
Membership is open to all municipal or county Chief Information Officers or others who perform similar duties.
