Winter Conference Approaching 

The Annual MMA Winter Conference is right around the corner.  Please mark your calendars for February 6-7th, 2020.  It will be held at the Westin Hotel in Annapolis again this year.  You don't want to miss this time of education and encouragement with mayors throughout Maryland.  Room Blocks Close January 13th!

"If I were Mayor..." Essay Contest

Every municipality should have recieved their informational packet.  If you have not, please contact MML and let them know ASAP.  This year's MMA sponsored essay contest theme will be "Reimagine tomorrow".  All elementary schools will receive their packets in January so in the meantime, you can start talking to them about how you could help promote the contest.  Resources are also available on the MML website.

MML's Legislative Reception

MML will host it's annual Legislative Reception on opening day of the 2020 General Assembly, Wednesday, January 8th at 7:00 PM.  This is the premiere event in Annapolis that evening and will be a great opportunity to get out and show the lawmakers in Annapolis that their Mayors are engaged.  Be sure to brush up on the Legislative Priorities so you can tell them what municipalities are fighting for.
