Emmitsburg – Silo Hill Storm Water Basin Restoration

The Mayor and Commissioners of Emmitsburg, Maryland are requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for assistance with meeting permit requirements under the federal Clean Water Act to improve water quality in Maryland’s streams, rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay. The Town seeks assistance with the application for storm water management grants to meet small municipal separate storm sewer system (“MS4”) permit requirements imposed by federal and state law, to prepare restoration design, and to conduct the construction and restoration work to meet all state and federal requirements for the restoration of the Silo Hill storm water basin located on Silo Hill Road, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
Documents are available at the Town Office located at 300A South Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, MD 21727, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and on the town website.
Sealed proposals are due by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. Proposals will not be accepted via email. Please boldly note on sealed bids “SILO HILL STORM WATER BASIN, DO NOT OPEN”

Kent County - Planning Commission Attorney

The County Commissioners of Kent County, Maryland, a body corporate and politic, are seeking to engage the services of an attorney to represent to the Kent County Planning Commission, in accordance with Chapter 49 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County. Copies of the RFP are available from the Department of Planning, Housing, and Zoning between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or on the County’s website.
All proposals shall be made upon letterhead stationary and all references to numbers shall be stated both in writing and figures. One (1) clearly marked original and three (3) clearly marked complete copies (including all attachments) of each proposal shall be submitted and delivered to: Director of Purchasing, 400 High Street, Chestertown, MD 21620, prior to 10:00 a.m., January 7, 2020. Somerset – Pool Management

The Town of Somerset, Chevy Chase, MD, ("Town") is seeking a qualified, professional Pool Management company ("Company") to manage its pool located at 5545 Warwick Place, Chevy Chase, MD 20815.
The successful bidder will be responsible for managing the pool before, during, and after the pool season, which will begin the weekend before Memorial Day weekend, and remain open through the final weekend of September. Management of a small baby pool is also required.
Bidders must use the bid form provided in the Request, and submit bid in a sealed envelope containing one original and one copy.Sealed bids must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019. The Town of North East is soliciting proposals from qualfied firms of Certified Public Accountants for audit services. A pre-proposal conference will be held on Monday, November 19, 2019 at 10 am in Town Hall. To review the full RFP please visit www.northeastmd.org/bids. The amount shall not exceed six percent (6%) of the amount bid or quoted and/or sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) whichever is less.
