The Mayor and Council of Smithsburg, Maryland is seeking proposals until Friday, November 16, 2018 from consulting firms with qualifications and experience to provide professional consulting services to the Town of Smithsburg for the purpose of conducting an economic development feasibility study. Hancock - Hancock Veterans Memorial Library Removal

The Mayor and Council of the Town of Hancock Maryland, 126 West High Street, Hancock, MD 21750, do hereby invite the public to submit quotations for the Hancock Veterans Memorial Library removal as set forth in a set of contract forms, bid forms, and specifications prepared by the Town of Hancock Maryland.  Complete sets of the contract forms, bid forms, and specifications may be obtained during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (EST) from the Town of Hancock Municipal office. There is no cost for the quotation documents. All bids must be received in sealed envelopes and time stamped at the Town of Hancock Maryland office, 126 W. High Street, Hancock, MD 21750, no later than 1:00 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday November 6, 2018.  Quotations received after this time will be returned unopened.  The quotations will be opened at the convenience of the Mayor and Council.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday October 17, 2018, at the Town of Hancock Municipal Maryland office, located at 126 W. High Street, Hancock, MD 21750

Emmitsburg - Engineering Services

The Mayor and Commissioners of Emmitsburg, Maryland are requesting sealed bids from qualified construction companies for the construction of a new Wastewater Pumping Station located at 17700 Creamery Road Emmitsburg Maryland.

Documents are available at the Town Office located at 300A South Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, MD 21727, Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and on the town website www.emmitsburgmd.gov. Sealed bids are due by 4:00 pm on Friday November 16, 2018 to 300A South Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, MD 21727. Proposals will not be accepted via email. Please note there is a mandatory site visit for any bidders prior to proposal submission.

New Windsor – Qualified Contractors

The Town of New Windsor, Carroll County, MD is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of the project known as “BLUE RIDGE AND COLLEGE AVENUES ROAD IMPROVEMENTS”.

The work generally consists of pavement, curb and gutter removal and reconstruction, clearing and grubbing, milling, paving, curb, sidewalk, storm drainage, pavement markings and signage, maintenance of traffic, relocation of existing utilities, retaining wall, cheek wall, concrete steps, driveway entrances, handicap ramps, sediment and erosion control and related work.
